Amazon Rainforest
The Amazon is the greatest, oldest and richest of the world's largest forest, almost 2.7 million square miles. Through it runs the world's largest river. One sixth of all the fresh water that flows on earth moves through its vast drainage system, it's flow is greater than eight river combined. The Amazon is so immense and wild that it naturally inspired legend and myth. The river was named after a tribe giant warrior women that the first European traveled there encountered, although, such people have never been found. The Amazon comprises well over half of the earth's tropical rainforest. Tropical rain forest requires an annual temperature of 75 F and 24 C to be essentially frost free. Humid equatorial belt lying between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn 23.5 degrees north and south of the equator. Since 1900 the forests have been reduced by one half, and the destruction has accelerated greatly since World War II reducing the forest by 59 percent. The rain forest still covers somewhat 7 percent of earth's land in three major areas of the America's, Africa and Asia. |
The study about the soils of the Amazon Rainforest, Observation theory: A planted single rooted tree in the soil ., notice the elements, minerals and energy conttained., In the eco system notice the living organisms being consumed by an assortment of elements such as bacteria and microbes, living beneath the earth.
The evergreen plant is an example of the primary photosynthesizing and fixed solar energy.
Solar energy is the atmosphere in this case it becomes sufficiency induced to energy from the sun as it consumes the activities of the plant life., The released energy is liberated from the stored energy resources known as respiration., and the remainder is energy thet builds new leaves, new roots, new branches, and fresh flowers.
All energy entering the eco system is either used or dissipitates in heat.,when the organisms feed on each other it releases kinetic energy., and this energy flow balances and dissipitate all chemical and is used as recycled energy on the ecosystem, this wheel is known as the nutrientcycle.
A stream entering the eco system brings dissolved minerals from other ecosystems in the area as a flow thru higher regions. The rainfall add its supply and the richness depends on the prominance of the ocean. This study involves what is known as the import and export system.
Strange colors long spine frogs in humped under giant mushrooms, snakes, reptiles, chimps, out of season mango flies, assorted insects, parasites, and a rare assortments of birds are inhabitants, nestled in this jungle. The Rainforest is vivid and alive with such intensity to be sure to awaken your senses, to wild cats and very unfriendly phytons., and cheetahs.
The largest rainforest is the Amazon Rainforest., the location of the Amazon rainforest is Brazil, Peru and Boliva, and is aproximately 2.4 million sq. mls. It has over 20,000 plant species, and assorted inhabitants. The Amazon is a Tropical Rainforest with a average rainfall of 1,500 mm.
Each year the Conservation of Steering Currents will invite teachers and other interested community members to take part in the selection comittee.
Each participant will have to present a composition., a case study on the topics, present their grades and have teachers references.
There will be approximately two scholarship awards per year, to bring awareness to earth science study programs and the vast ness of the rainforests and all it unfolds, for all its valuable properties in lending its survival aspects to the planet. and the eco friendly nutrient system.
